Astoria, OR : Sequim residents injured in a fatal car crash east of Astoria on Monday, February 29, 2016
Two people from Sequim were hurt in a fatal car crash yesterday east of Astoria, Oregon.
Oregon State Police say 66-year-old Edward Levick was driving a Ford Fusion along Highway 30 when it was hit head on by a Ford Focus.
The driver of the Focus. 29-year-old Randall Haines of Astoria, was pronounced dead at the scene.
OSP says Haines drifted off the highway onto the shoulder, lost control and crossed the centerline.
Levick and his passenger, 97-year-old Nydia Levick of Sequim were both injured. Nydia Levick was later airlifted to Oregon Health and Science University with life-threatening injuries.
