A Panama City man is critically injured and his passenger dead following a Sunday evening wreck in Walton County.
The name of the deceased and the injured are being withheld pending notification of next of kin, according to the Florida Highway Patrol media release.The accident happened at the intersection of U.S. Highway 331 and State Road 20 at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
A black PT Cruiser was southbound on 331 when the driver turned onto SR 20, colliding with a GMC pickup.
The pickup collided with the curb and rolled over. The driver and passengers, including a 12-year-old boy, were uninjured, the release said.
The occupants of the PT Cruiser were wearing seat belts.
The individuals in the pickup truck were not, according to the release.
