Oakland, CA : Video footage sought in fatal hit-and-run in Oakland on April 27th 2014
Oakland police are asking residents for video footage or other information that could help them find a hit-and-run driver who killed a man in the Temescal neighborhood Saturday morning.
The victim, a 68-year-old Oakland resident, was struck at the intersection of 51st Street and Telegraph Avenue Saturday around 7:20 a.m., police said.
Emergency responders transported the victim to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect vehicle fled the scene and has not been located.
Anyone with video footage of any part of the roadway near the accident scene or with other information is asked to contact police as soon as possible at (510) 238-3426 or Crime Stoppers at (510) 777-8570.
