Two teenagers are dead and another injured after a crash at an intersection on U.S. Highway 5 in northeastern North Dakota.
The Highway Patrol says the teens were in a car that collided with a semitrailer about a mile west of Langdon on Wednesday afternoon.
A 14-year-old girl from Wales and a 15-year-old boy from Langdon who were passengers in the car were thrown from the vehicle, and later died at a Grand Forks hospital.
The 16-year-old Langdon boy driving the car was taken to a Langdon hospital with unspecified injuries. The patrol says charges are pending against the boy, who failed to stop at the intersection.
The two people in the semi were not hurt.
The patrol did not immediately release the names of those involved.
