HOUSTON, TX : HPD officers involved in crash responding to scene on Tuesday, 22nd January 2019

A traffic stop led to a wild scene in northeast Houston.

Two officers crashed into each other responding to the scene.

This all happened around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday as they were en route to give back-up to another officer working alone holding two suspects at gunpoint at Jensen and Hage.

Houston police say it all started when an officer was pulling two guys over as a routine traffic stop. When the car pulled over, two men hopped out and took off running.
