A Manchester police officer was involved in a crash on Beech Street Tuesday afternoon, Chief Nick Willard said.
The officer’s SUV knocked over a telephone pole with live power lines at an intersection just south of the police department just after 4 p.m., and the driver was pinned inside.
Willard confirmed that the officer was driving a department vehicle.
