Gettysburg, PA : Driver sustained minor injuries during a crash in Mount Joy Township on Thursday afternoon, Oct 8, 2015

A car hit a tractor-trailer in Mount Joy Township on Thursday afternoon, causing minor injuries to the car's driver, according to Pennsylvania State Police in Gettysburg.

The crash happened around 2 p.m. on Baltimore Pike near Holly Lane, according to Adams County 911.

The car's driver fell asleep at the wheel and hit the tractor-trailer, Trooper Sean Polcha said at the scene. The car's driver was transported to Gettysburg Hospital.

The tractor-trailer's driver was not injured.

Baltimore Pike was closed for less than an hour as crews cleared the scene.
