HCSO reserve officer dies in motorcycle accident in Colorado

A reserve officer for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office died Saturday after hitting a deer while riding his motorcycle in Colorado.
John Hill was with the department for 34 years.
"We mourn the loss of Major John G. Hill, who showed how to lead through service and selflessness," Sheriff Adrian Garcia said.Hill most recently served with the marine unit, which uses boats and other vehicles to patrol recreational swimming areas and the Houston Ship Channel.
