Black Forest, CO : 2 high school students dead, 1 injured, and 1 arrested in possible DUI single-vehicle crash in Black Forest on Monday, September 1, 2014

Authorities say two teenagers were killed and two others were injured in a single-vehicle crash in Black Forest. Colorado State Patrol Trooper Eric Zachareas says 17-year-old Beau Begier and 18-year-old Ryan Pappas, both of Monument, were killed when the car they were in crashed into a grove of trees near the intersection of Hodgen and Roller Coaster roads shortly after 1 a.m. Monday. The 17-year-old driver suffered minor injuries, and one of his passengers, also 17, was hospitalized with serious injuries. Investigators believe speed and alcohol played a role in the crash. The driver was arrested, and the State Patrol is seeking charges that include vehicular homicide. His name has not been released.
