LAURENS COUNTY, SC : One person is dead after a crash in Laurens Count on Thursday, 21st June 2018

Troopers said one person is dead after a crash in Laurens County.

The call came in at 8:15 p.m. Troopers said the crash happened on Harris Springs Road near Nanaloo Ave, about .67 miles south of Waterloo.

Troopers said a driver in a 1999 Acura 2-door vehicle was traveling south on Harris Springs Road.

The driver crossed the center line, overcorrected and then traveled off the right side of the roadway into a ditch and tree, then overturning again and hitting a second tree.

The driver died at the scene, said troopers.
