Clermont County ,OH : Man and woman killed in Two -vehicle crash along Route 755 on riday early morning ,June 26th 2015

Officials believe that alcohol and drugs were a factor in the early morning crash in Clermont County that killed a man and a woman, according to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened just after 6 a.m. on Ohio 756 near Fruit Ridge Road when a westbound Dodge Caliber crossed over the center line and struck a Dodge Ram travelling in the opposite direction, the release states.

The Caliber was operated by Richard Carter Jr., who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Betty Crawford, the passenger in the Ram, was also pronounced dead at the scene. Officials said Crawford, 53, was not wearing a seatbelt.

Richard Crawford, the driver of the Ram, was flown to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in serious condition.
