Portland,OR : Pedestrian killed in NE Portland crash on March, Wednesday 21th 2018

A man died Wednesday after being hit by a car while crossing a street in Northeast Portland Wednesday.

The crash was reported around 9:10 p.m. in the 12200 block of Northeast Sandy Boulevard. The pedestrian was hit by a gray Subaru Legacy that was heading west along Sandy Boulevard, Portland police said.

The pedestrian died at the scene. The male driver stopped and is cooperating with the investigation, police said. Northeast Sandy Boulevard has been temporarily closed between 122nd Avenue and 125th Avenue as police investigate the crash.

No arrests or citations have been announced by police.
