Several people have been hospitalized after a serious traffic crash in Springfield.
Police at least four people were transported to the hospital following the two-car crash.
Lt. Brian Kennan tells that a Lexus sedan hit a Jeep at the intersection of Parker Street and Gardens Drive shortly after 9 p.m.
The extent of the injuries is unknown.
The road reopened early Thursday morning.
Authorities are investigating.
