Allentown, PA : Man killed in weekend crash in Allentown on Saturday, 22nd December 2018

A 73-year-old man died Saturday after he crashed into a tree in Allentown, causing his vehicle to roll over, the Lehigh County Coroner’s office said on Monday.

Antonio Acevedo of Allentown died following the 7:30 a.m. crash in the intersection of College Heights Boulevard and Arch Street, chief deputy coroner Andrew Kehm said. Acevedo was driving a vehicle that left the road, struck a tree and rolled over, Kehm said.

Acevedo was pronounced dead at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. His death was caused by complications of injuries sustained in the crash, Kehm said, and the manner was determined to be an accident.

Besides the coroner’s office, Allentown police is investigating the crash.
