Sturgis,MI : 3 die in one-car crash on May,Saturday 26th 2018

Three people were killed early Saturday in a one-vehicle crash in Lockport Township.
St. Joseph County sheriff’s deputies said the crash occurred just before 2:30 a.m. A vehicle driven by Damian Long, 22, of Sturgis, was eastbound on Fairchild Road, approaching Klinger Lake Road. As the vehicle entered a curve, Long lost control and the vehicle struck a tree.
The force of the collision split the 2002 Mercury Sable in half, deputies said.
Long and two passengers, Christina Slusher, 29, of Centreville, and Kassidy Robinette, 20, of Leonidas, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies said speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.
