TUCSON, AZ : Investigation ongoing after fatal car crash in central Tucson on Sunday, 28th January 2024

One man is dead after a crash in central Tucson.

The Tucson Police Department responded to the intersection of N. Alvernon Way and E. Flower just before 6:30 a.m. for reports of life-threatening injuries after a crash.

A male pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Shortly after arriving he was pronounced deceased.

TPD sys the driver remained at the scene.
