Houston, TX : A motorcyclist died in northwest Houston on Tuesday, October, 17th 2017
A motorcyclist died Tuesday evening in northwest Houston after slamming into a car, according to the Houston Police Department.
The crash occurred shortly after 8 p.m. at I-10 westbound at TC Jester Boulevard, police said.
The motorcyclist - identified only as a man - appeared to have been unable to slow down, causing the bike to hit a vehicle, said HPD Sgt. A.J. Vanderbull.
No one else died in the crash. The motorcyclist did not appear to have been intoxicated, Vanderbull said.
All mainlanes of the freeway were shutdown due to the crash, according to Houston TranStar.
