DENVER, CO : 1 killed in crash at 76th and Sheridan on Saturday, 23rd March 2024

One person was killed in a serious crash Saturday afternoon, according to the Westminster Police Department.

The crash happened at 76th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard. One person was pronounced dead and several people were taken to hospitals.

Police told FOX31 the extent of injuries was otherwise unknown.

Sheridan Boulevard was closed in both directions from 73rd Avenue to 80th Avenue, but the road has since been reopened.

WPD said the crash is under investigation.
