CLAYTON,CA :One taken to hospital after Clayton crash on July, Thursday 27th 2017

The California Highway Patrol is at the scene of a solo collision after a person was taken to an area hospital, authorities said.

At 5:13 p.m., officers responded to a report of the collision just off eastbound lanes of Marsh Creek Road just east of Morgan Territory Road, CHP Officer Marc Johnston said.

The solo driver complained of pain to first responders, and was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek out of an abundance of caution, Johnston said.

No word was immediately available on traffic delays or other accident-related damage, and no sig-alert was issued.
