POINTE COUPEE PARISH, LA : Crash involving DOTD vehicle closes Highway 190 near Lottie on Wednesday, 3rd September 2024

Two people have minor injuries after a crash on Highway 190, officials say.

According to the Pointe Coupee Sheriff’s Office, a DOTD truck and a trailer had their lights on while moving slowly in an attempt to clean the bridge. Officials said the driver of a truck heading westbound saw the DOTD truck and trailer, looked down for a second and when the driver looked back up, realized he was too close.
