One person was killed in a crash on Interstate 85 northbound in northwest Charlotte Monday morning.
The wreck happened around 4:15 a.m. on I-85 northbound just before Brookshire Boulevard, the Charlotte Fire Department said.
Medic said one person was dead in the crash.
There's no word on what caused the accident or how many vehicles were involved.
Several lanes on I-85 were closed for a time.
Highway Patrol is investigating.
