Amarillo, TX : Man dies in motorcycle wreck on Bell Street on Monday afternoon, July 21, 2014

An 18-year-old was killed this afternoon after his Kawasaki struck a motor vehicle on Bell St.

At nearly 1 p.m. this afternoon, Amarillo police officers were dispatched to the 6330 block of S. Bell on a motorcycle versus motor vehicle collision.

Upon arrival, they discovered a 2009 Hyundai 4 door had been exiting a private drive, turning north on Bell.

A 2011 Kawasaki motorcycle was driving southbound on Bell. The motorcycle struck the car.

The driver of the Kawasaki, Christopher Caleb Bell, 18, of Amarillo died at the scene as a result of injuries.

The drive of the Hyundai, Brayden Lynn Green, 21, of Amarillo was uninjured.

The incident is being investigated by the Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Department.
