One man is dead and three other people injured after an early Sunday morning crash on Interstate 80 in Valley Township.
State police at Milton said the driver, who is not yet identified pending notification of family, was traveling west in the left lane at about 3:30 a.m. when he moved to the right lane and lost control at mile marker 224.5. The vehicle left the road via the north berm and struck a tree with its left front end, police said. After initial impact, the vehicle rolled over several times and came to rest on its wheels facing southwest. The investigation is ongoing.
Police said the driver was killed and the adult male front seat passenger and an adult male and adult female in the back seat all sustained serious injuries. The driver and front seat passenger were wearing seat belts, but police did not know if the back seat passengers were.
Police did not release any identities or where the the vehicle's occupants were from.
Liberty Valley EMS, Millville EMS and the Valley Township Fire Department assisted at the scene.
