STRAWBERRY, UT : 2 dead, 1 critically injured in head-on Highway 40 crash near Strawberry Reservoir on Friday, 24th November 2023

Two people were killed, and another was transported in critical condition following a head-on crash on Highway 40.

Cpl. Luis Silva with the Utah Highway Patrol said the crash happened a short time before 4 p.m. near milepost 47 on Highway 40 near Strawberry Reservoir.

He said a gray Dodge pickup truck was traveling eastbound on the highway when it lost control and crossed over into the westbound lanes.
