Queens ,NY : Mother and young daughter killed in Two car collision on Wednesday night ,July 1st 2015

A mother and her young daughter were killed in a two-car collision in Queens Wednesday night, police sources said.

The woman and her two daughters, believed to be 6 and 9, were in the back seat of a Toyota Camry sedan when it collided with an SUV driven by a 46-year-old woman near 210th St. and Horace Harding Expressway in Bayside around 6:06 p.m., according to sources.

The car carrying the family slammed into a tree after the crash, sources said.

A source said the girls’ grandfather was driving and their grandmother was in the front passenger seat.

The younger daughter was fighting for her life in critical condition at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where the victims were taken, a source said.
