Juneau, WI : 56-year-old Wauwatosa man injured after motorcycle collided with an SUV on State Highway 33 in Dodge County on Wednesday, Nov 4, 2015

A 56-year-old Wauwatosa man was flown by helicopter Wednesday to Froedtert Hospital after the motorcycle he was riding collided with an SUV in Dodge County, the sheriff's office said.

The crash was reported shortly before 2:30 p.m. on State Highway 33 at County Highway P in the Township of Herman, according to a news release from the Dodge County sheriff's office.

The motorcycle was eastbound on Highway 33 when the driver of the westbound SUV turned south into the path of the cycle, according to the release.

The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the SUV, severely injuring the cycle rider, who was wearing a helmet.

The driver of the SUV, a 68-year-old Oconomowoc woman, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries and the crash remained under investigation, according to the release.
