Summit County, OH : Tow truck driver hit and killed on Turnpike in Summit County on Monday morning, May 11, 2015

Troopers have reopened the eastbound lanes of the Ohio Turnpike Monday morning after a deadly crash in Summit County.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said a tow truck driver was helping a disabled car when he was struck and killed by a semi passing by the area near mile marker 182.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials say the semi driver doesn't face charges at this time.

The driver being assisted heard the accident but did not see it, according to troopers.

The crash remains under investigation.
