Monett, MO : A Golden woman died on Thursday following a wreck on February, Thursday 8th 2018

A Golden woman died on Thursday following a wreck at 6:51 p.m. on Route J, one mile north of Golden.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Danette Stillwell, 43, of Golden, was driving a 1992 Ford F150 southbound when her vehicle ran off right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Stillwell was pronounced dead at 8:32 p.m. by Dr. John Johnson at Mercy Hospital in Berryville, Ark.

She was not wearing a safety device, and the vehicle was totaled.

This is the 11th fatal wreck of 2018 for Troop D of the Patrol, which covers 18 counties in southwest Missouri, including Barry and Lawrence.
