Plymouth, UT :2 dead in I-15 crash near Plymouth on Wednesday, July 8th 2015
Police say a car drifted into the median, went airborne and hit the underpass wall, flipping and killing the two people, both in their 80s.The passenger, according to police, was 88-year-old Ronald P. Willis, who died at the scene while the driver, 84-year-old Thora B. Willis, was transported to a Bear River hospital where she died a short time later. They were from Idaho Falls, Idaho.Officials say the Kia SUV was heading north around 2:15 p.m. on Interstate 15, near mile post 394, two miles north of Plymouth and approaching the Utah-Idaho border, when it drifted into the median for approximately 900 feet without breaking or swerving. When it reached the underpass it went airborne, stuck the underpass wall, causing it to flip on its roof before it slid down to the county road under the freeway.
