OKLAHOMA CITY, OK : Police chase ends after driver crashes into creek in southeast OKC on Thursday, December, 14th 2017

A man was taken to the hospital early Thursday morning after police said he led officers on a chase and crashed into a creek in southeast Oklahoma City.

According to police, an officer tried to pull over the car at about 3 a.m., but the driver took off, leading the officer on a chase that lasted a few blocks.

Police said the car then ran off the road and crashed into a creek near Southeast 42nd Street and Santa Fe. The man was lying in the creek, screaming in pain when emergency crews arrived.
