Little Rock, AR : A woman is rushed to the hospital after a crash on April, Thursday 20th 2017

A woman is rushed to the hospital after a crash involving a school bus Friday morning in Caddo Parish.

Caddo Parish sheriff's deputies say the bus ran into a tree around 6:15 a.m. on Colquitt Road and Scout Drive near the Derrick Express gas station.

According to deputies, the woman driver was pulling out of the gas station with her child inside the bus when she ran off the road.

The woman was taken to Willis-Knighton South with leg and shoulder pains. The child was not injured.

Deputies say the woman has not been cited at this time.

This crash remains under investigation.
