Dodge County, WI : One person killed and three people injured in a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Ashippun on Wednesday, June 8, 2016

One person was killed and three people were injured Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash in Dodge County, the sheriff's office said.

The crash was reported shortly before 11 a.m. at the intersection of County Highway P and County Highway O in the Town of Ashippun, according to a news release from the Dodge County Sheriff's Office.

According to the release, the driver of a 2008 Kia, who was eastbound on Highway O, ran a stop sign at the intersection before striking a 2003 GMC that was northbound on Highway P.

The driver of the GMC was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger in the GMC, the driver of the Kia and a passenger in the Kia were taken to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, according to the release.

The crash remained under investigation, the sheriff's office said.
