A 20-year-old man was arrested late Sunday for a hit-and-run crash that injured two moped riders in Kaneohe, Honolulu police said.

Police said Sene Leilua, the driver of a gray 1998 Toyota, was traveling on Kahekili Highway near Kahuhipa Street at around 8:30 p.m. when he swerved into the moped while trying to get around a stalled car. Leilua initially fled the scene, but police said his girlfriend convinced him to turn himself in. He was later arrested for failure to render aid.
