Two people, including a police officer, were taken to a hospital after a crash Monday afternoon in northwest Oklahoma City, officials said.

A police officer was driving near the intersection of Northwest 115th Street and North Western Avenue when a vehicle turned in front of the officer's squad car, according to police officials. The second vehicle flipped over onto its hood.Police said two people, involving the officer, were taken to an area hospital. The officer was sore after the crash but was not seriously injured, officials said.

Authorities have not released information about the other person's condition.
