CHEROKEE COUNTY, OK : 1 dead, 2 taken to hospital after crash northeast of Fort Gibson on Tuesday, 5th December 2023

A 15-year-old is dead and two teenagers were taken to the hospital following a crash Tuesday evening in Cherokee County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).

OHP said it happened around 7:00 p.m. on North County Line Road near South 393 Road, which is about 9 miles south of Hulbert and about 3 miles northeast of Fort Gibson.

OHP said what happened and what caused the crash is still under investigation.

Only one car was involved in the crash, a 2014 Ford Escape, OHP said.
