SPRINGFIELD, TN : Driver dies in crash involving large tree in Robertson County on Tuesday, 27th February 2024

A woman died in Springfield on Tuesday night after a tree reportedly toppled over a road, causing a crash with her car.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said the deadly incident occurred on Kinneys Road around 7 p.m.

A tree had fallen on the roadway, blocking it completely, when 54-year-old Laurel Suggs hit it. Her car ended up leaving the roadway and was found down an embankment.
