BOSTON, MA : 1 killed, 1 injured in early morning car crash in the area of 1025 Bennington St., near the Orient Heights MBTA station on Sunday, 5th May 2019

One person is dead and another is injured following a single-car crash early Sunday morning in East Boston, according to police.

The crash happened around 1:15 a.m. in the area of 1025 Bennington St., near the Orient Heights MBTA station.The identity of the victim who was killed has not been released. The other person's injuries are not life threatening, according to police.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
