LEXINGTON, KY : Road reopens after two car collision in Lexington on Monday, 14th October 2024

An early morning car accident involving two vehicles sent two people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Lexington police.

It happened at the intersection of Sandersville Road and Citation Boulevard. Dispatchers received the call at 7:00 AM on Tuesday.

The incident led to a temporary closure of the roadway to allow for cleanup, which lasted about an hour.
