PEEBLES, OH : A two-car crash in Adams County on May, Wednesday, 17th 2017

A two-car crash in Adams County claimed the life of a Peebles woman.

According to Ohio State Highway Patrol, at approximately 10:50 a.m., Wednesday, a crash occurred on Ohio 32 at the intersection of Ohio 41 in Meigs Township.

According to a preliminary investigation, a 2016 Toyota Corolla was being driven eastbound on Ohio 32, operated by Lois A. Pertuset, 74, of Peebles.

Pertuset allegedly failed to yield while turning left and struck a 2001 Peterbilt semi traveling westbound on Ohio 32, operated by Donald N Dunlap Jr., 43, of Alkol, W.Va., at the intersection of Ohio 32 and Ohio 41.

Peebles Fire and EMS assisted at the scene, along with Adams County Coroner’s Office.

Pertuset was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Adams County Coroner’s Office and was transported to Montgomery County Morgue.
