Shelbyville, IN : Man injured after being in a car accident Thursday, January 5, 2017
A Shelbyville man was flown to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for treatment after being in a car accident Thursday.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single-vehicle crash at 500 E and 350 N.
A black Ford F350, driven by Matthew Fuller, 26, was eastbound when he lost control while attempting to make a curve in the road.
The Ford struck a guardrail, which caused it to roll over on its side and become wedged in between two trees, Major Louie Koch of the Sheriff’s Department said.
Fuller was extricated from the Ford and treated at the scene before being flown to Methodist for additional treatment.
The roads were icy and snow covered when the accident occurred.
There was no update on Fuller’s condition Thursday afternoon.
