Denver, CO : A 29-year-old man died at a local hospital after a collision on Friday, July 14, 2017
A 29-year-old man died at a local hospital after a collision with a pickup truck in Broomfield on Friday night.
Broomfield police did not identify the man but stated in a Facebook post that he had been traveling westbound on U.S. 287 shortly before 9 p.m. when he exited onto southbound Colo. 121 and collided with a Ford pickup truck in the through lanes of Colo. 121. The truck had been southbound on Colo. 121.
North Metro Fire Rescue transported the motorcycle rider — who had become trapped under the truck — to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the truck was not injured.
Traffic in the area was rerouted in the area for about three hours. Police have not said whether speed, drugs or alcohol were involved.
