Gastonia ,NC :One woman killed in Crash after Multi-vehicle accident on Thursday afternoon ,April 23 2015

A woman was killed in a multi-vehicle accident in Gastonia Thursday, according to officials.

The crash happened around 1 p.m. at the intersection of Dallas Bessemer City Highway and Fairview Drive.

Officials say Dung Trung Ho was driving a Dodge pickup truck when he failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a Toyota, being driven by David Antonio Castro.

Elizabeth Castro, a passenger in Antonio Castro's car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said there is no sign that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

As of Thursday afternoon, no charges had been filed.
