MILTON, FL : Florida Highway Patrol says pedestrian from Milton killed in accident on Sunday, 17th March 2024

Florida Highway Patrol officials say a pedestrian from Milton was killed in a traffic accident Sunday morning.

They have not identified the pedestrian but say the accident happened at 1:12 Sunday morning at State Road 87N and Sandy Hill Lane.

Highway Patrol officials say the pedestrian was walking in the middle of the southbound travel lane on Highway 87N.

They say a vehicle was traveling south in the right lane and spotted one of two pedestrians in the roadway and swerved to avoid hitting the one pedestrian and hit the other one walking closer to the center of the two lanes.
