Salem, OR : Police: Wrong-way driver causes highway crash in Salem on May 28th 2014

A wrong-way driver caused a crash involving at least five vehicles on Highway 22W on Wednesday morning, Salem police said.

It happened in the eastbound lanes near Rosemont Avenue NW around 7 a.m.

It’s unclear how many people were injured in the crash.

The highway reopened at 8:30 a.m.
