St.Clair County, MI : Two people killed and five injured in a head-on crash on Interstate 69 Port Huron Township on Sunday March 6 2016

Two people were killed and five injured in a head-on crash on the Interstate 69 Business Loop in Port Huron Township Sunday evening.
An 83-year-old man and his 81-year-old passenger, both of Clarkston, were traveling eastbound on the westbound side of the I-69 Business Loop west of 32nd Street in a 2007 Chevrolet Impala when the vehicle crashed head-on into a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. Both occupants of the Impala were killed, said St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon.
The driver of the Pacifica, a 46-year-old Shelby Township man, and his four passengers, two 46-year-old females, a 16-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy, were transported by Tri-Hospital EMS to Lake Huron Medical Center with undetermined injuries.
Port Huron Police assisted at the scene of the crash, along with Michigan State Police, Port Huron Township Fire and Rescue, Kimball Township Fire Department and Port Huron Fire Department. The crash remains under investigation.
