Bakersfield, CA : A woman was died in a wrong way crash at Racine Avenue On Saturday, August 20th, 2016

A woman died after driving the wrong way down a south Bakersfield street and crashing head-on into a gardening truck early Saturday.

Police were called to McKee Road and Racine Avenue to a collision between a maroon sedan and a truck at 5:38 a.m. Police said the woman was driving the sedan westbound in the eastbound lanes when the crash occurred.

It’s unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision, police said.
