Wilsonville woman killed in one-car crash in Shelby County

A Wilsonville woman was killed in a single-car wreck Sunday evening. The crash occurred eight miles south of Chelsea on Shelby County Road 55, according to a report from the Alabama Highway Patrol.

The woman, Catherine Vanderslice, 57, was driving a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder at about 5:30 p.m. when the accident occurred, according to the report. She was transported to UAB Hospital.Alabama state troopers are still investigating this crash.
