Worcester, MA : One person killed in pickup truck hit-and-run crash on Saturday January 9 2016.

A West Boylston man charged with striking a man with his pickup truck and then leaving the victim by the side of a Worcester road has been held on $5,000 bail.
The Telegram & Gazette that Vincent Green pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Monday to charges including motor vehicle homicide by negligent driving in the death of 56-year-old Frank Jeffrey Call.
Authorities say Call, a security guard at Worcester's Union Station, had gotten off a bus and was walking home after work Friday night when he was struck. His body wasn't spotted until about 2:50 a.m. Saturday.
Based on vehicle parts at the scene, police tracked the 21-year-old Green to his home.
Green's lawyer says his client thought he hit a deer, stopped to check, but didn't see anything.
