Authorities say a 30-year-old pedestrian has been killed after she was hit by a car in southern New Jersey.

Gloucester Township police said in a release that Jacqueline Cullinan, of Clementon, died of head injuries after she was hit by a car on Peter Cheeseman Road Sunday night.

Police say the driver of the car that hit her remained on the scene. No charges had been filed as of Monday morning.

The crash remains under investigation.
