A suspected DUI led to a 45-year-old Camano Island man’s death Monday night.
The Washington State Patrol reported a two-car crash on Minkler Road, about 2.5 miles east of Sedro-Woolley. A 2000 BMW sedan allegedly driven by 20-year-old Kevin Solorzano Hill of Arlington was speeding westbound, according to the State Patrol. Robert Wilson, 73, was eastbound in a 1999 GMC Sierra truck, turning onto Peavey Road.
The BMW hit the truck, causing it roll over. The BMW was engulfed in flames.
